Annual Budgeting Setup
The System Administrator in your organization needs to complete setup in the following areas before Annual Budget Processing can be used.
Company FM Settings
User-Based Security
In User-Based Security, there are security settings that allow authorized users to determine the budget levels at which users can enter budget information, use the long-range forecasting feature, and view and generate reports. Go to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > Security > User-Based Security.

The budget levels and titles that display are based on the levels defined on the Annual Budget Levels tab on the Company FM Settings page. A check mark next to the budget level indicates the user has access at that level to the area described below:
- Budget Level Maintenance Security—Ability to enter and maintain budget information. If a user has maintenance security for a level, they automatically get reporting and inquiry security for that level as well.
- Budget Level Forecast Security—Ability to use the long-range forecasting feature.
- Budget Level Reporting Security—Ability to view reports and inquiries for the budget level. A user can have reporting security for a level and not have maintenance security. If however, a user has maintenance security for a level, they automatically get reporting security for that level as well.
Click Save to keep the settings for the user.
User Security
Depending on the Annual Budget Processing module users access, they will need permission to that component in New World ERP. See Set User Permissions for more information on how to set permissions for users.
